Mid Year League Wrap Up
The Mid Year League finished on Saturday with 2 very good games of Touch. The Mixed was played between Thunderpack and Blascks Stardust, with Blacks running out winners 11 touchdowns to 7. While the Masters Final went right down to the wire with a 3 on 3 drop off. At the end of full-time the teams were locked at 6 Touchdowns each - the Mid Year League rule of 2 point touchdowns to players over 45 making for a very exciting game. The Drop-off started at a great pace and the game flowed from end to end - with both teams down to 3 on 3 it took an intercept to Darren Blakely to break the deadlock.
